14-Day Italy Touring Itinerary
From Rome to Venice with Culinary and Wine Experiences
Day 1–3: Rome
Arrive in Rome and spend three days exploring the Eternal City’s historical treasures. Visit the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vatican City, and St. Peter’s Basilica. Enjoy classic Roman cuisine with a food tour in Trastevere, sampling local favorites like carbonara, supplì, and Roman-style pizza. Dedicate an evening to a guided wine tasting, discovering Lazio region wines in a cozy enoteca.
Day 4–5: Amalfi Coast
Travel south to the Amalfi Coast, base yourself in Positano or Amalfi. Wander through charming cliffside villages, marvel at breathtaking sea views, and relax on the beach. Participate in a seaside cooking class where you’ll learn to prepare fresh seafood dishes and limoncello. Take a guided tour of a local vineyard to taste Campania’s renowned white wines, such as Falanghina and Greco di Tufo.
Day 6: Naples (Optional Stop)

Day 10: Pisa
Take a day trip to Pisa to see the iconic Leaning Tower and Piazza dei Miracoli. For lunch, sample local specialties like cecina (chickpea cake) and panzanella salad in a traditional osteria. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon with gelato by the Arno river before heading to your next destination.
Day 11: Siena
Travel to Siena and wander the medieval streets of this UNESCO World Heritage city. Visit the magnificent Piazza del Campo and Siena Cathedral. Join a guided tasting of Tuscan red wines—especially Brunello di Montalcino—and savor traditional Sienese sweets like panforte and ricciarelli.
Day 12–14: Venice
Conclude your journey in Venice. Explore the canals, St. Mark’s Basilica, and the Doge’s Palace.
